I can't believe this is Marcia's debut book! So well written and easy to read, you'd think this is her 10th! Her voice is funny, relatable and fresh! It is a perfect balance of funny, lighthearted stories and heavy relationship guidance. I gained a lot of new perspective about self esteem and friendships especially. I'm not a very religious person but I still thoroughly enjoyed this book! I zoomed through it in 2 days, however, you may wanna take longer so you can really soak in her advice... have your highlighter ready! 5 stars!

This book made me laugh, tear up, and reevaluate a few of my preconceived notions about life and faith. I love the honest and vulnerable spirit in which it was written, and the progression of subjects from self-care, to care of your friendships, to soul-care. If you are struggling or questioning in any of these areas, you'll find a friend in this author, and answers in this book. Lots of wisdom here. I'll be gifting this to my 20-year old daughter.

I bought this book for myself, and received a gift copy, so I passed one on. I LOVED it and the person I gifted it to raved about it as well. This is a book all women, young and young at heart, could use to give them the permission to slow down so they can get rid of the noise that keeps them from true connection to self, God, and others. The author's style is approachable and warm, like you are speaking with your own girlfriend. 10/10 would recommend.

This book is awesome! I have read it 3 times and it just gets better each time. I truly believe it can change your life one page at a time. She has hit every note within this book and then some. She has left no stone unturned. I found myself in several places within this book. You will not be disappointed. It honestly can change your life! The author is raw and down to earth and her words are so encouraging. Loved it!

God, My Girlfriends & Me is an easy and enjoyable read. Marcia’s use of personalized experiences draws the reader in helps identify the different facets of healthy and unhealthy relationships. The use of the end of chapter questions are thought-provoking and also keeps the reader engaged. I definitely recommend this book for anyone wishing to freshen up their relationship skills.

I could relate to Marcia's struggle with wanting to please everyone and not leave enough time to nurture important relationships. I could also relate to having an evolving relationship with God and religion over a lifetime. This book combined meaningful ideas, philosophy and scripture to help women resolve all these issues and a wonderful way.
